When do you start talking about Thanksgiving in your classroom? I start right at the beginning of November! I love creating an environment of gratefulness the whole month. Thanksgiving Morning Meeting is the perfect time for you to incorporate some festive activities and encourage your students to reflect on what they are thankful for!

Greeting

T is for Thankful

Students will greet each other by saying, “Good morning _______ I am thankful for ______” while making a T with their hands.

Sharing

How can you show you are thankful without saying it?

Activity

Turkey, Stuffing, Pie

This modified version of rock, paper, scissors will be a hit in your classroom, socially distanced, or virtually!
